Comments about Honey Can Do DRY-01113 40-ft. Indoor/Outdoor Retractable Clothesline:

The one sunny spot in our tree filled yard was in the driveway between the corner of house and the corner of the garage which measured 38 ft. Both structures are cedar sided, so I was able to screw the reel base directly to the house by using the supplied wood screws and my portable drill/driver. The 40 ft line easily stretched to the garage. Using a small drill bit, I made a tiny pilot hole for the supplied hook and then screwed the hook in by hand. After attaching the line to the hook make sure you follow the directions on the box and wrap the line around the plastic "anchor" on the bottom of the reel case. This tightens up the line so it won't sag. I hung my first load of laundry and it took no time to dry... in 90 degree weather!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
